The Board of CIPQ is obliged to take legal action to recover any contributions not paid by an employer. The constitution governing the operation of the Fund permits the Board to charge employers an interest penalty if payment is not made on time.
In addition, a letter will be sent to workers advising them that their employer has not paid contributions to CIPQ on their behalf.
